What lung conditions would this fall under?
Ok…so If someone had these symptoms what do you think they have?

I have a constant mild cough with random severe coughing fits with random sputum….unknown colour, mild chest lung pain (feels pressure) normally, Lung pain (pressure) severely increases when taking deep breaths, Random shortness of breath, No cold/flu symptoms. Timeframe 1.5–2 months ya I know, I’ve been busy
Doctor appointment not until Mid Feb.
Any Ideas?

Mid February will be here before you know it. If you can’t get in sooner.
You will find out when they culture your sputum and take the chest X-ray.
Let’s hope it’s bronchitis.
ditto that, stop smoking! This is the perfect opportunity for you to quit (not to be a nag), smoking will only make it worse. Now let’s hope it’s nothing serious. I smoked for 16 years and that never happened to me, I was on and off though. As long as you’re not coughing up blood, because that is a bad warning sign. Good luck to you then. If you are interested in quitting and need some help shoot me a message. I’ve been quit for 110 days so far but before a short, 2 pack slip I had a few months ago I was at 200+ days smoke free. It is so doable.
Reschedule the Dr’s appointment to next week. Stop smoking.
also wanted to add that it is not good to self-diagnose, especially on the internet. It will always lead to the worst conclusions or be totally incorrect. Let the doctor do their job.
That could be so many things. You could have an infection. You could have COPD. Could be TB. Could be lung cancer. Could be heart related. Hard to tell, because since you smoke, any of these conditions coupled with smoking could cause some misleading symptoms.
Don’t freak out. The doctor will listen to your chest, take an xray, and you will have preliminary answers quickly. Any cough that lasts over a month should be checked.
Stop smoking.
No matter what it is, that can’t hurt, and will probably help.
