Loony Tunes
The Four Musketeers
Brazil
(Interesting that I’ve seen your first two in the theater.)
I watched Brazil this week. God I <3 Terry Gilliam, his films are so brilliantly strange.
My next 3 are Grindhouse: Planet Terror, Jabberwocky, and then Freaks & Geeks.
But I have 13 DVDs and 33 Instant in my queue. I’m terrible.
Being There,Patton and The Man Who Would Be King…If I had a queue…..sigh…
The Girl With the Dragon Tatoo (my Mom read all the books, I haven’t so it will be a complete surpise to me)
The Lion in Winter (the one with Patrick Stewart)
Whatever Works (a comedy with Larry David and Evan Rachel Wood directed by Woody Allen)
Alice in Wonderland
Everything is Illuminated
Peter Pan
Fantastic Mr. Fox
Pirate Radio
The Bucket List
@IWillDrinkYourBoneMarrow Do you mean the most recent live action version of Peter Pan? That one was awesome, especially the young lady who played Wendy. Peter Pan by Disney is my favorite all time Disney animated movie.
@BarnacleBill Fantastic Mr. Fox is a weird movie. The animation is superberb and the music is surprising and unusual. The only thing I didn’t like were the voice actors that they chose. I kept thinking that they needed to be British. But it was a very interesting movie.
My Fair Lady
Young Frankenstein
The Human Centipede ;)
Best Worst Movie
my sister’s choice (Not a movie, me and my sister take turns renting movies on Netflix)
I dunno about my third choice yet. Possibly another Bergman or Kurosawa film…....or Trolls 2
Oh my goooooooooooooooooooood!
Dinner For Schmucks, Big Fan, and Chinatown.
Resident Evil: Afterlife
Salt
Red
At home, I’ve got Inception (which I loved) and Knight and Day (which I haven’t watched, yet).
The Town
Machete
Nowhere Boy
At the moment, I’ve got Ed Wood, Road to Perdition and Blade Runner at home to watch. When I send those back, my next three are The Seventh Seal, Le Corbeau and The Philadelphia Story. ...However, I’m working on getting ready for the Oscars, so the next three films I’ll actually watch are True Grit, The Social Network and Winter’s Bone.
(Movies are srs bzns, y’all.)
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest
Syriana
Get Low
I also have an ongoing remedial program, between rentals an instant viewing, to catch up with venerable classics I never saw. At home I have An American in Paris, What’s Up, Tiger Lily?, and There Will Be Blood, and I just returned my latest literature-based BBC series. A couple of nights ago I watched the extraordinary1928 silent film The Passion of Joan of Arc on instant viewing.
