Android app source code to installed on device?

Does anybody know how I can go from the raw source code available here:

https://github.com/JakeWharton/SMSMorse

to installing it on my own android device. The updated source code has some features that the developer had not included in the market version. It is very unlikely that he will ever push an update to the market at this point, too.

Well, you’ll need to compile the source code tourself, and it doesn’t seem that the author has left any build instructions.

Maybe you could email him and ask him directly, or leave a comment (if possible) on his github page.

@the100thmonkey yeah i left a comment on his page but it hasnt been updated in forever. so i guess we’ll see how it goes.
