(NSFW) If you were incarcerated - how would you react?

I’m thinking I probably would and that it would it would be at least as much about the closeness, the intimacy, the companionship as it would be about the sex. Prison is a pretty cold, lonely and harsh place, I imagine. I think I would eventually reach out for that kind of intimacy and companionship. But I’m a girl, men are so hung up about these things. It might be harder for them.

No. I am simply not attracted to non-females. Never have been. I think I would vomit if I attempted to get busy with another dude. The thought is revolting.

And please, don’t interpret my comments as being anti-homosexual in any way. I am incredibly pro-gay. My blood boils when people make fag comments or jokes. Giving a rats ass what other people do in the bedroom is pathetic beyond measure – the activity itself, from a sexual desire perspective, is what I find ‘distasteful’ (literally).

Honestly, I can’t predict what I would do. I’m like @FutureMemory in terms of my lack of interest in homosexual acts. Yet, if that were my only choice, and there was someone I felt close to—even loved, perhaps I might. Still, it’s hard to imagine making that kind of connection with anyone in prison. But on a space flight to Mars? Perhaps.

I’ve known two gay men who came out of prison and said it was really quite boring. It was just like the outside world where 95% of the men are straight and are simply not interested in gay men. Finally, there wasn’t very much sex going on at all.

@hawaii_jake Well, if that’s the way it is, maybe I’ll change my answer. Or maybe women’s prisons are more fun. Are you talking about long term incarceration or what? 2 to 5 is a lot different than 25 to life, I’m thinking.

@lillycoyote : The men I knew were both in for “short” stays in the range of 3 years.

@hawaii_jake, the details of the question specifically said ”... if you should be incarcerated for a very, very lengthy period…”, I took that literally, but what the hell, why not have a little fun and a little lovin’ in jail?

It might be nice if more straight women would answer this question but it doesn’t look like that’s happening, or going to happen. Maybe later. Most certainly more men than women are answering. And I only answered because I am completely and unconditionally, almost in a kind of cult-like way (Oy Vey! Anyone know a deprogrammer?), devoted to Zen (A.K.A. @seazen) and only answered the question for him, because he asked it. I generally don’t answer questions about lesbian and homosexual penitentiary sex. Not that it’s bad, or anything. I’m not passing judgement here at all, not at all. I just don’t generally answer these sorts of questions.

Well, I am straight woman. Here’s the thing, when I think of being incarcerated, sex is the last thing that popped into my mind. When I first saw the question I was thinking of the things I would fear in prison. But, back to your question. I doubt I would have sex with another woman, unless I really began to have some sort of relationship with someone, same as I would be with a man. I have never been attracted to a woman in that way, but I do find woman attractive if that makes sense. What I am saying is the idea of sex with a woman does not disgust me in any way, it just is not someting I yearn to do.
