Some good "hunkerin' down in your snowglobe" kinda tunes?

So far, I have been playing Miles D. What else would you recommend?

Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.

Some Billie Holiday or Ray Charles would be good to “hunker” with!

Jude That’s the song I heard on WBGO that made me get into Bobby Bland! My favorite of all his songs. Others do it too, but none as well as him IMHO.
If you want to be mellow I like Zero 7 (trance) usually I’m not into trance music but I like them.

Another favorite is Neil Young’s Prairie Wind album.

I’m thinking along the lines of some real snow-melting hot rock like Aerosmith, or maybe some something spicy like some cajun-zydeco tunes from Beausoleil. I also just got the 25th Anniversary of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 4-DVD set delivered yesterday. It features all 51 performances from all the grand masters of R&R.

Gail, give this a try.

I dug it out of my storage bin this morning. I haven’t listened to it in 10 years.

@Jude: Thanks for thinking of me, but I probably will stick to opera with singers for now.
