Facebook users, is there a way to hide Older post in your own profile?

If it’s something you posted, you can always scroll down on your Wall and click the X on the right to “remove post.” You can also delete specific comments that your friends left.

I don’t think so. You might be able to go to the post and edit who can see it.

what if i want to see the older post, but i only want my friends to see the post from a specific day/time onwards

There isn’t a way to pick a set date. Instead, you’d have to go to each individual post and check the settings on those posts and change them so that people can’t see them.
