Does anyone know of any great, well-moderated social sites for film buffs?

Hmm. Rotten Tomatos is pretty good, in my opinion. I don’t know if it’s exactly what you’d be looking for, but I find it helpful.

Yeah, I have been on that one, but users don’t actively talk about film. I wish there were one sort of like facebook. Filmbook!

I love the idea, but am unaware of such a site. You may be sitting on a money maker here.

I am a web developer and have always thought about starting my own movie-type website. Maybe we all can collaborate together and create the Facebook of movies! @ladymia69 you already have created the name, so you can be my designer. @filmfann you have inspired me so you can be the co-executive. These are all excellent site for film information, review, critiques, and socializing with other film buffs like myself! I also use http://www.netfilx.com/moviefans as well!

@iCalvin I have tried IMDB, but I am not a big fan…also, I tried the netflix site but it just took me to my netflix homepage.
