What's a good 80's song for my vocal range?
My a’capella group is working on composing a medley of 80’s songs for this coming summer. We’re all supposed to pick one we can feature in, but I’m not all that familiar with 80’s music, much less something I can sing as a baritone.
Can anyone recommend a 80’s song with the melody in the baritone 1/ tennor 2 range?

I am not sure if this is the right range for you,but I am sure it’s not good.
My deepest apologies for this XD
@lucillelucillelucille unfortunately I’m in Ireland, and whatever you were trying to link me is being blocked “for copyright purposes.”
@marinelife that’s the second time youtube has blocked me because of copyright content!
If you guys could send links via tinysong we might have better luck…
pssst! Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” XD
Anything by The Human League. Phil Oakey is a baritone.
If you can go outside of the Top 40 (popular music) area, also try Nick Cave or Peter Murphy.
How about songs recorded by Karen Carpenter? she had a beautiful voice and in the baritone range. listen to some of her songs on Youtube and see if this will help.
Maybe some Depeche Mode. Dave Gahan is a low tenor/high baritone. Martin Gore, however is a tenor, so I wouldn’t pick anything he sings. People Are People and Master and Servant would really be apropos vocally for an a capella group.
Elvira by the Oak Ridge Boys. I included the link even though you probably won’t be able to see it.
