If it wasn't for _____, I don't know where I'd be today?
Fill in the blank! If it wasn’t for one thing in particular maybe you could just write off your current success, or maybe your current predicament.
What was that one thing that changed the game?

My husband. With the things we’ve gone through and he still stands next to me and actually wants to be there with me, he’s the one constant in my life.
My children, too; however, I know if it wasn’t for my husband, I would have thrown in the towel not too long ago.
My grandparents. They took me in when I was a punk little 9 year old then put up with me through my hellish adolescent years. They were my saving grace, without them I would have been a ward of the state. They always said I kept them young….

My children changed my life and the decisions I have made.
I think life is a journey and along the way many opportunities are presented along with a whole host of obstacles. We decide which ones will either stop us, encourage us to carry on or lead us to take a detour. It is a fascinating journey is it not?

FUCK IT ATTITUDE. I finally got tired of going by the rules and coming up short. So I began to look at things differently. Screw the rules, screw policies do the damn job. I was told I was going to die young. I was made to feel that I had no choice. Well, I’ll be turning 59 in a couple of weeks. I chose this line of defense: “I’LL GO WHEN I’M DAMN GOOD AND READY.”
