I’ve heard of people getting them in 7–10 days with direct deposit.
It’s usually about that. Shouldn’t be more then two weeks.
Generally about 2 weeks, but it depends on how many other people are filing at the same time as well. Usually the earlier you file during the tax season, the quicker you get your refund. Here’s the IRS’s e-file refund cycle chart. The dates are based on when your refund was accepted by the IRS and then there is a date for direct deposit and paper check.
Mine was Tubo Fax filed on Feb. 3,2011 and I am still waiting.
I guess the IRS did not believe my refund for 2010 was $210,000.00.
@john65pennington According to the chart I posted, if your refund was accepted by the IRS between Feb. 3rd and Feb. 10th, you should get your refund direct deposited on Feb. 18th.
Seaofclouds, thank you. That $210,000 dollar refund I posted was just a pipe dream. I felt generous at the time, and out came the figures. My refund is actually $100,000 dollars.
Today is the 13th, so I have five days to go.
I got mine less than ten days after filing.
