What do my reoccurring pregnancy themed dreams mean?

Over the past two months I’ve had 4 dreams with the same theme. I realize I’m pregnant within the dream and I feel excited, nervous, elated all at the same time. I touch my belly and I usually end up waking up. There may be other things happening in the dream, but I usually don’t remember them by the time I wake up. I just remember being pregnant and all the emotions that come with it. I also can literally feel something growing inside me in the dream.. It’s such an odd feeling. After I have these dreams, I spend most of the waking day thinking about them.
Do these dreams represent something?
I am not pregnant in real life, nor do I plan on becoming pregnant anytime soon.

Pregnancy could be an symbol for feelings of creative fecundity or ideas which are literally germinating within you. Do you feel like you are at a creative high point in your life? Are you working on some kind of project that means a lot to you and seems to be about to “bear fruit”?
Or you could subconsciously be yearning to have a child even though it doesn’t fit with your current goals or place in your life’s path. That makes you block it out, but in your dreams it makes itself heard because your mental filters are offguard.
okay, in the end only you would be able to figure out what the dreams mean. but earthgirl gave you most everything i would have suggested. i feel the biggist clue is what you wrote about your feeling:

these are the most important ideas that you could have brought to the table. it tells us there is no fear, or feeling of destruction or desalation.
are you beginning new schooling or training soon? whatever i concure with earthgirl’s first paragraph; though the literal interpretation is possible. finally, if you don’t like this response… well, what the hell do i know. i figure you’ll do fine in this new endever.

Gosh. I gotta get to these dream questions sooner. Three of you all said pretty much what I would have said. Have you been working on a project? Is there some idea you’ve had for a long time and you feel like you’re finally ready to act on it? Or maybe it’s just the idea and you keep thinking you aren’t ready.
Are you a performer of some kind? Do you wish you were one?
Or you felt bloated and you had a lot of gas movement in your intestines and alien baby seemed a bit of a stretch for your subconcious.
