(NSFW) What movies were you, upon hearing the title, amazed to find out weren't pornos?
For example, the 1932 John Wayne film “Ride Him, Cowboy”.

Brokeback Mountain, honestly. Great movie, but I thought they could have chosen the title more carefully. Too easy to parody, too close to ‘bareback’. Wouldn’t change it now, of course.
Due to the strangeness of certain Japanese media, I couldn’t be sure whether Tokyo Gore Police was a regular film or porn. But I guess it’s a pornography of violence.
The Man Who Shot All Over Liberty Valance
Black Snake Moan.
Bear in mind that the film’s tagline is “Everything is hotter down South” and the female lead is a nymphomaniac.
I’m sorry – “Brokeback Mountain.”
A movie about gay cowboys? With a name where one of the words phonetically and with that storyline thematically leads to more of a possibility of phonetically associating it with “bareback” wouldn’t sound like gay porn?
Really?
It was originally a TV series, but “Sex and the City”. In fact, I once saw it being sold by a guy selling porn outside a Mexico City subway station. Somebody was in for a disappointment.
Lady & the Tramp…...woof woof!
“What Dreams May Come” always sounded like “Wet Dreams, May Cum” to me.
@Deja_vu – Well, that was a Jon Waters movie…many people would consider that close enough.
They made a lot of fun of the title of “Winter’s Bone” on SNL the other night.
