What is Handbreak?

it rips DVDs to another format to use in your iPod

it’s a very usefull application to rip dvd’s to various formats, inculding ipod, it supports subtitle embedding, picture size adjustment, etc.

right now im ripping my akira dvd

its free? I like free. Where I get it and would it be useful for the apple tv I’m thinking of getting?

Yes, it is free. Also, it is pre-sets for AppleTV and many others. If you do a search for it is is Handbrake not Handbreak.

that’s cool. So it sounds luke I can disconnect my dvd player from my tv and put apple tv in its place being that I only have two HDMI inputs to my flat panel tv and they used up by my cable receiver and DVD player

It makes sure your car stop when you are for example on a steep hill, and you don’t have enough fuel, so the engine stops, and when you pull the handbrake, the brakes block the wheels from spinning.

Seriously: search on Google “Handbrake mac”. Simple as that. I don’t ask what every program I see for the Mac is. Then we would have 1.000.000 questions by now.
