Is "scythe" ever pronouced like "sith"?

Is scythe ever pronounced like sith (a Dark Jedi) or is it always a long i sound like ice or why?

It’s got a long I. It rhymes with tithe

No. It is s (long i) th (as in “the”).

It’s pronounced as sith if it is spelled that way, as in Sith Lord (from the movie)

Spelled scythe, it’s a farm implement and pronounced with a long i as in eyes.

Merriam Webster or The Oxford English Dictionary, noun or verb, I find only one pronunciation.
