Well, they certainly live longer – is that a measure of happiness?
I’m not sure u can say living longer and being happy are the same in one. Some people may die younger but lived good played hard and had fun
I’m very happy I got married
I’d say the experts are all single.
I think people in a good marriage are likely to be happier than single people. People in a bad marriage are likely to be less happy. If people in bad marriages get divorced and return to the single state, I think it’s entirely possible that the average married person is happier than the average single person.
This doesn’t mean it’s better to be married than single, however.
Chris Rock said it well.
“Those are choices you got in life, man. You could be married and bored or single and lonely. Ain’t no happiness nowhere. Married and bored or single and lonely.”
Depends on the marrage. I am much happier being divorced.
Happiness is an attitude. Your surroundings are irrelevant, really.
Happiness is a personal thing and therefore not necessarily linked to marriage – some people like marriage others don’t – some people are happily married (perhaps for the 5th time) and others happily divorced…...
I have to say that I am a very happily married man and that I can’t imagine my life without my wife. She is the most rockin, sexy, hell of a lady this side of anything.
now that’s what I like to here
I am happier married to my husband, than I would be alone or with someone else. When he is out of town for work, I feel like I am lost. He is my best friend.
I think people in good marriages are happier than those alone.
I agree. I also agree some people just dont mix with other people
Happy happy , Joy joy…
And @Babo the surroundings only add to our happiness…..
I’d be interested in seeing the source for the question’s assertion.
