Ok, So….I’m “watching” this hockey game because I don’t know where the remote is anyway it’s the 2nd period and the score is 0–0 but there has been like 6 fights in the time I’ve been watching… Shouldn’t hockey players…you know….PLAY HOCKEY….. Or am I misunderstanding…should I be upset because they are breaking up the fights to “play hockey” ???

Rednecks Hockey fans are quite fond of the fights.
Shhh… @bob_ don’t say that in front of the Canadians, it’s their national sport.
I like hockey fights and all.
It’s exciting, fun, physical, and cute guys. girls too
they fight because they “can’t” score goals Wayne Gretzky never fought
Are you suggesting that fights at hockey games should be scheduled somehow? Only permitted after a certain amount of game play has occurred or only after a certain number of goals have been scored? Really, honestly, that’s positively un-American and I imagine very kind of un-Canadian too.
Are you sure you aren’t just watching a fight where a hockey game happens to have broken out?
Yes, @SavoirFaire has got it exactly. You just have to accept that that; that you’re watching a fight where a hockey game has broken out.
