Could you provide some examples? I believe I can happily criticize Fluther all I want when I use arguments and if it is relevant (e.g. an answer to a question “What don’t you like about Fluther?”).
What do you mean by, “a oil bit’?
oh I like fluther. I was just hunting for opinions
there are some questions that got deleted that I have asked that where not bad at all. But I did not make fluther nor due I work for them. Just follow the guidelines or try to like I do and everyone will be happy.
It’s a privately run site- they can do whatever they want.
Ive never seen a single example of them censoring any comment that was relevant and well written.
Dont use free speech and an excuse to just say whatever you want.
Remember the guidelines are there for a reason
egh too late to edit
meant to say
“Dont use free speech as an excuse to just say whatever you want.”
I asked ” Does anybody have a crazy friend”? What“s one thing he/she did to be labled crazy friend? And guess what. Gone!
@hairypalm theres better ways you could have worded that. Depending on how you look at it, it could be seen as derogatory towards mentally ill people.
its Q like that. I mean I understand keep out the drama but come on!
maybe a minimum age limit. Keep the kids out. Btw what are kids doing on here anyway. Even with all the mods there is some racy stuff in here
@hollister “even with all the mods” theres only 3 and believe it or not they have lives too. Thats why theres a flag button. Age limit? Come on when has that ever worked? Because we all know that everyone tells the truth on the internet. Nope didnt look at porn until i was 18, thats for sure <rolls eyes>
Here’s an idea- stop biting the hand that feeds. If you don’t like it, find some investors and start up your own internet board. Otherwise, quit complaining. It’s free for christ’s sake.
The way you word things can strongly affect how the question is perceived. For example: I asked “why does kevbo always come in conversations?” I got an email from the mod kindly asking me to re-word it since it was too specific a question. And so I did, it now reads: “Have you ever referred to fluther members during real world conversations?” The intent behind the question is the same, but now I have included everyone else. They’re not just deleting your questions for fun.
and btw I just wanted to see if they would delete this question
They probably saw through your crafty ways!
nah but to be serious. It is a great tool. I have gotten great tips about alot of stuff and my new mac. Thanks you guys and gals
…oh and thanks fluther. Whoever the hell you are
fluther is an old man, he used to work a fishing boat, that’s why he chose the jellyfish as a theme…i know he lives somewhere in the bay area and that he’s been divorced twice…now you know a little more about flutter
ahh. Nice. U and fluther go way back? Wow from a hard tough as nails(I watch deadliest catch) to a web maker. Huh
After viewing the list of questions you have asked since you’ve been here, I would hardly think you’d have the right to complain about censorship.
