I’ve got a Pandora radio application on my telephone, and really love playing Devo radio. Some great losties pop up from groupd like The Clash, B-52s, The Cars, and Devo themselves. A great time is had bicycling around the arboretum with Devo radio playing as peppy motivational music. “Oh, No, It’s Devo” and “Freedom of Choice” are two very good albums. Give it a try, you may say That’s Good link
I’ve been following Damoneseven for a while he is just beyond amazing. You can listen to some of his songs here

Kemo Sabe is a wonderful band from San Francisco. It’s bluegrass but with a modern flair. They have great lyrics. In a similar style are The Brother’s Comatose, also local in California. They’re awesome!
I’m must be becoming quite mellow in my middle age because I just can’t seem to get enough of listening to this woman’s voice :-/
The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is a beautiful mix between classical and rock, with a lot of Christian religious references. I suggest that you try it, it’s certainly unique.
Tody, I found an old CD case/wallet thingy with about 50 CDs that I hadn’t listened to in about 10 years. Some of them are astounding. This list will, therefore, be a bit retro.

Here are some of my recommendations, in no particular order.
When You Sleep by My Bloody Valentine is a song I enjoy so much that I wrote it into one of my novels as an important plot device.
Lou Reed’s fantastic cover of the doo wop classic This Magic Moment is pretty awesome.
If you are looking for the only break-up song you will ever need, try Your Ex-Lover is Dead by Stars.
If you want a song that might make you nostalgic for high school, check out How We Roll by Plushgun.
And finally, if you want to hear a song that is just… well… crazy in a very subtle way, try Rooks by Shearwater.
Also: Stump-Buffalo
