What does it mean when you have 'sequels' to dreams?
I have had ‘sequels’ to dreams many times. I asked my theology teacher what it means and she said it means that I am worried about something. The only problem is that I am not worried about anything. And if I have been, my dreams have nothing at all to do with it and don’t relate to something I would or have worried about. I’ve tried really hard to remember the ‘sequels’ to my dreams and the original ones, but I can’t. All I can remember is that they are in the same setting and are about the same things as each other. It’s like watching a movie and you stop in the middle of it. Then, a while later, you finish it. But it’s all a dream, or dreams. I know allot of other people have had these ‘sequels’, but no one really seems to know why, at least as far as I know.
Do you have any idea why I am, and so many other people have these ‘sequels’ to dreams?
Thank you!!

when i find out, I’ll make sure i tell you.
Are these “sequels” over the course of one night, or multiple nights?
Sequels in one night are pretty normal, I think. Often, when we “wake up,” we aren’t really awake. The “sequel” is really a continuation of what was happening.
If it is over the course of more than one night, then it might be a recurring dream instead of a sequel. You don’t remember your dreams, so it’s hard to say. We need to know what occurred in the dream if we are to have any hope at all of answering this question.
And then, in the end, the real answer is that the meaning is whatever you think it is. If you think that the fact the dreams are “sequels” is important, then you should ask yourself why you think that? What does it mean to you?
When you dream it has to do with your inner self, not physical… Meaning? you might have dreams that are symbolic to something that is happening presently or in the past and it transforms in different images…
For me I have dreams which might question my views or actions fo the past, or like for instance last night it was about something someone else mentioned, and I might have thought about it a little more than I should have…
But in reality dreams are images that are being reflected about the present or the past.
Sounds like an interesting phenomenon. If you can’t remember either dream, how do you know they are sequels? As for an explanation; a person dreams about things that are foremost in the subconscious at that particular time. I guess if you wake up before your subconscious was “done” with it, then you would continue the dream later until your mind feels that it has come to some conclusion about that particular thing.
Okay, now I remember one:
1st part:
I was in a little village and it was sunny. All the townspeople were lining up to a little shop. I went into the shop and was automatically in the front of the line. There was a purple curtain in front of me, then a guy wearing a red tux opened it. There was a concrete wall behind the curtain. I stepped up in front of the wall and the guy with the red tux mouthed some words but didn’t actually speak. It got foggy, then the dream ended.
2nd part:
I was in back the village and there was a line going to the shop again. I was suddenly second in line but my sister was in front of me. She got in front of the concrete wall and the red tux guy mouthed some words and my sister yelled something out, but I couldn’t hear. Then she vanished in a puff of smoke. I went up to the wall and the red tux guy mouthed some words and I tried to say them but he said I did it wrong, so I tried again, then vanished in a puff of smoke. I went to a dirt path with really lush green trees neatly bordering it. There was a green haze to everything and the path seemed endless. It wasn’t very bright or dull, just a fuzzy soft green light. Then I was on a town square in another village that was vacant. Then my mom showed up and we were watching girls in swimsuits slide down a wooden water slide then walked away and the dream ended.
Pretty weird, right???
