Maybe I’m just pissed off today but flaky people are the worst kind of people (aside from the serious ones, you know, like murderers and stuff).

Jigsaw people. I mean, the slightest sign of an emergency & they just go to pieces. Pull yourself together, now come on. Those kind really are a puzzle to me :¬)
People who don’t realize that the universe is absolutely humongous and that they themselves are minuscule and completely unimportant, that we are all fragile earthlings on a lonely planet who should do our best to love one another in peace and make this place the best place in the universe, together, are the worst kind of people.

@Jeruba: you’re sweet. Someone just told me they’d do something to help me and he’s just a fucking prick and now I’m stuck. It’s just like… if you say you’re going to do something, fucking do it. Follow through, be a man. Or tell me you can’t do it. Don’t just not fucking answer me/leave me hanging. phew. Grr. Thank you :)
@SamIAm What did this poop do (or rather not do)? Is there anything that we can do to help, or is it after the fact?
It is very upsetting/annoying/anger inducing when people give you the idea that they will show up, or bring something, or solve a particular problem, but then when it comes down to it, they fail to show up, forget what they were supposed to do, or decide not to solve the problem. Then have the audacity to tell you that it’s not their problem, it’s yours!

@SamIAm, I’m sorry you were left stranded. That’s a rotten thing to do to someone, and you can be good and mad at him even if he is only the fourth- or fifth-worst kind of person.
If it’s any comfort, that kind of behavior is going to come back to bite him bad sometime, for sure. And while you can easily put him out of your life (I hope), he’s stuck with himself.
Meanwhile, can somebody else give you a hand? Are you going to be all right?

@Kardamom and @Jeruba: Thanks you two! I am totally fine… he ended up coming through. Just needed something to ease my anxiety/help me sleep for a flight tonight. But it wasn’t even about that anymore, it was just the principle. You say you’re going to do something, be somewhere, help you out… DO IT! Or let me know you can’t. It’s REALLY that simple!!
And you’re right… some people are just shitty people (aside from this little incident there have been many others, and not just with me) and bottom line is that they do have to live with themselves! Lesson learned on my end.

People are multiple faceted. I do not feel that there are people who are “the worst kind of people”. We all are flawed. I aim to seek the light in all people. Sounds corny, but it’s true.
