I really miss this place

There is a waterfall, Horsetail Fall, that comes off of El Capitan, a sheer cliff in Yosemite Valley. For a brief window of time in February, and right at dusk, the last rays of sunlight sometimes catch the fall and produce the “fire fall” effect. Here’s what it looks like

@aprilsimnel Your photos are gorgeous! I also take mostly landscape photos and your style is very similar to mine, especially the closeups of the grass and flowers. The one with the tree in the grassy field is stunning.

Where do you put your photos (online?) so that you can upload them to a site like Fluther without doing it directly from your computer library. Sorry for such a dumb question. Technology and me are not close friends.

Two of my favorites are the one of the aurora borealis in my avatar and this one of Fairytale Meadows, at the foot of Nanga Parbat, in the Himalayas.

@Kardamom, I have my own blog, but most people use Flickr, Photobucket or Picasa to upload and share their photos online.

This isn’t my photo misty lake but it’s the type of photography I’m interested in. I hope to come back to this question with photos of my own. My second love is nature photography.
