did he or did he not? that’s the question…
maybe your just not having a great question or answer day…
I think your right. Maybe I should give up today. Try again tomorrow.
try something we can all relate too…sex?
EPIC FAIL?
btw, i was totally kidding =]
This question isn’t a bad one. I’m pretty sure the answer is no.
In my experience, no you do not lose points when the Fluther moderators drop a question or a comment for which you were awarded a GQ or GA, respectively.
To know for sure, consider visiting the Man O’ War chatroom and asking them. Look for Ben or Andrew or Erik.
I have already tried throw out a open ended Q and sex will eventually show its ugly or for some beautiful face
You’re supposed to avoid open-ended questions. Take a look at this.
It’s pretty helpful.
You tossed out an open-ended and highly suggestive question and the mods threw it out the window. Good for them.
@Holli… your “thick or long” question was hardly open-ended. With only a single tag, sex, the direction was clear.
I’m getting to the point where I’m jonesing for a “whiny, irksome, wish-the-Fluther-moderators-loved-me” Flag As option.
if I flagged a boring Q would they delete it?
huh. R rated is ok as long as tasteful. If people are replying I believe that counts as tasteful
‘dumb’ is acceptable. I think they will review it, though.
ok. Why is it ok to talk bout drugs. But not sex
Drugs aren’t obscene, i don’t know.
i dont think its the content of the question i think it is the quality of which its asked really, you could ask how many bitches have you been with and it will be flagged but you could also ask how many sexual partners have you had and that would not get flagged, maybe. also the drug questions are informative… its people enriching there learning on drugs and the experience of them, no one really learns anything from like which is better, thick or long…
(sigh)
This isn’t a democracy. This site is the personal property of the Fluther owners. They can moderate what they want, when they want, why they want.
They often go out of their way to explain why and will often negotiate at length with folks to resolve dispute. But they don’t have to.
So, stop asking us, suck it up, and go ask them.
Some things can be perceived as perverted, I’m just saying…
It’s not about the perversion, it’s about the complete lack of value in the question. You’ve had a handful, if not more, questions moderated and I’m assuming they all failed to be of any value to the community.
This isn’t a site about a single question or personalities, it’s about single questions that benefit the community as a whole. Your moderated questions didn’t do that. Sorry.
and I respect the seriousness of some Q’s. However sometimes you have to sit back and have a little fun
Can one have fun without being either predictable, repetitive or dopey? That is what I have been wondering for the past week.
Oh, sorry. I thought the question was about the deletion of IQ.
