What before bed foods almost guarantee bad dreams for you?

I can’t eat picante sauce before bed; it gives me horrible dreams. What about you? Have you noticed this with any particular foods?

Chocolate, before bedtime, is a no-no for me. It does not cause bed dreams, instead, the caffeine in it keeps me awake.
I can drink a glass of chocolate milk, before bed, and within 20 minutes I am bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and ready for another eight hours of human madness.
Bedtime chocolate is an upper for old John.
Anything heavy like meat or a sweet dessert affects my sleep. I have a personal rule not to eat anything after 8 p.m.
I had carrot/raisin/pineapple salad and lousy dreams last night. ): I can’t eat anything chocolate either, John or I’ll have insomnia.
I’m thinking of having the carrot salad again tonight just for a masochistic experiment.
I can’t eat Prarie Oysters before bed. ;)
I really feel disappointed if I don’t recall dreams, good or bad. Sadly, this means I really lack discernment about foods eaten in the evening. Maybe I should try @Aster‘s concoction, it sounds tasty… Though I try to stick with @Austinlad‘s rule, except when I don’t.
oh dear, I’m fluthering for the sake of it… forgive me?
Aster, I am glad I am not alone with chocolate.
I can’t think of anything that results in bad dreams. Spaghetti sauce gives me heartburn if I eat it too late, though.. and I never get heartburn otherwise. So if I have Italian food for dinner, odds are that I won’t sleep well.
Cheese, although I don’t ever have bad dreams. Just a fairly restless night.
Cheese does it for me. Guaranteed strange stuff!
Bananas always seem to cause me nightmares if I eat one before bed.
hmmmm!! I ate half of one of those, too!!! LOL
