Did no one else ever use the tag 'diplomacy' Also, is this a bug or a feature?

I added ‘diplomacy’ as a tag and it never showed up in the list of existing options. That’s a bit of a concern. Is it not a subject that Fluther users ever think about?

Diplomacy has been used before. I’m not sure why it wouldn’t pop up as an existing topic, because it definitely is one.
By the way, I edited your topics, extensively. Please be sure to use only appropriate topics, as it’s an important part of our question matching algorithm. PS: I also moved your question to the Meta Section.
Well, this site just continues to impress and surprise. Although the lack of moderation commentary will make this question seem strange to new observers. Perhaps I’ll turn that into a meta question tomorrow.
“Lack of moderation commentary?” I’m not sure what you mean… I’m a mod, and I commented. ;)
Ok. Hadn’t read all the details before commenting. Life is short, time is precious. Make mistakes and apologise later is a useful philosophy to me. So, apologies again. Please be less efficient :-)
Efficient is my middle name. :D

Instead of asking another question about moderation, type the topic and read ad nauseum all the other newbies rants complaints annoying questions about it; when in fact, you have the full attention of the Manager herself in your own private little thread about, well, nothing. This is Fluther – flow. It aint answerbag.
@markferg – If you have specific questions about the site and you want an answer directly from a mod, send a PM to @augustlan. She’s the Community Manager and she’s on here every day. Alternatively, send a PM to one (or all) of the other moderators. I promise you’ll get an answer.
And if it takes a little while for your questions to be answered, please remember that the moderators on Fluther are human, which means they need to do real life things like eat, sleep and spend time with their loved ones.
You might not get immediate answers like you might get on another site, but you’ll get honest, genuine answers from a lovely lady who truly cares about our community enough to have turned a volunteer position into a full-time job.
This question would have been better if only @WasCy made one of his famous pithy comments.
