I think Bette Davis plays a waitress/prostitute in Of Human Bondage (1934)

Any idea what channel the movie was on, or who was in it?
I want to say Mildred Pierce with Joan Crawford, but it’s a little early for that jump.

Sounds a bit like Stella Dallas but I haven’t seen it for so long I’m not sure. I’m going with Joan Crawford, though.

Hmm, I looked at the movies and I don’t believe it’s any of those. The main character was a blonde lady with a husband, her mother died and her name was Maria, I think they were living with someone else and they would take care of an old lady who would ring a bell. Sorry I don’t have much info…
