Does anyone want to meet me in iSketch and play?

Asked by Ladymia69 (6884points) March 11th, 2011

It’s a game a bit like Pictionary, but online. You can go to iSketch.net, sign in as a guest with your fluther handle, and we will play for a bit.

When you get to the room options, look for the tab above the room names that says “User Created”. Now look for the room name “SpastiCat” and enter! See you there!

Oh I used to play this all the time! I had forgotten about it! Fun!

Seelix's avatar

Come and play!

filmfann's avatar

I guess I am too late. The room is gone.

Seelix's avatar

We were there for a while around 730ish. We can try again in a bit if enough people want to play!

Ladymia69's avatar

Or we could meet up tomorrow…let’s keep each other posted!

filmfann's avatar

Post a time you want to start, so we all have time to see when to meet.

How about tomorrow (Saturday) night, about 6 PM (Eastern time)? Same room name, SpastiCat. I will choose a new category this time! If anyone is interested, please let me know on this thread, and I will see you there!

Assuming nothing comes up, I’d join you again!

JmacOroni's avatar

Heck yes, I am in for the next game!

MissAnthrope's avatar

I’ll try to make it if I’m not too fried from work.

Seelix's avatar

I’ll try to be there!

XOIIO's avatar

Sure, why not?

—6pm eastern is 7pm
Central, right?/-

Just a heads up, but “Around the House” seems to be a category with a good selection of words and phrases that range from easy to challenging, for user-made rooms. Some of the other categories are definitely for advanced players.

Seelix's avatar

@JmacOroni – We played with that category last night, and trust me, there were some weird ones! E.g. kabob basket!
I’m not super familiar with the categories, and it doesn’t really matter to me either way, but we might want to look into something else (also because @ladymia69, @MissAnthrope and @Mariah and I might have an advantage).

Mariah's avatar

@XOIIO I think it’s 5pm central.

I thought the “around the house” words were so hard! @Seelix miraculously guessed my “shag carpet” yesterday (which was seriously just a horizontal line with some wavy vertical lines coming off of it).

JmacOroni's avatar

@Seelix what was the category? I am an obsessive iSketch player, and I have seen some crazy words come up.

JmacOroni's avatar

@Mariah “Around the House” can be hard. But the majority of the categories for user-made rooms are way more advanced than that one. That’s the easiest category I’ve found so far. The pre-made rooms have varying levels of difficulty, including “easy,” but you don’t seem to be able to apply that to a private game.

Seelix's avatar

@JmacOroni – We played with “Around the House”! And we had some other weird things, like “granite counter”, “newel post” and others that I can’t remember. But hey, like I said, it doesn’t really matter to me, so whatever the consensus is!

XOIIO's avatar

Dang.

Hopefully I can drop in a tad later, I’m out until 5.

Ladymia69's avatar

@XOIIO I am sure we’ll be there for a couple of hours at least

Ladymia69's avatar

We can try out a couple of categories before the big game later.

JmacOroni's avatar

I’m down for experimentation.

Ladymia69's avatar

You want to meet in there in about a half hour, Nef?
I’ll be in UC room SpastiCat.

JmacOroni's avatar

Yep, that’s perfect, actually. Gives me time to finish up my laundry and take the dogs out to potty. I’ll be there. Yay, fun.

Ladymia69's avatar

see you soon!

Mariah's avatar

Oh turns out I’m going out to eat at 6, but I’ll check and see if you’re still there when I get back!

filmfann's avatar

no room created yet

Come play!
