When do you work best in the day? Personally I love evenings, I might even stay up till morning just because I can get work done. What is your worst time of the day to work too?

I do my best work (that requires thinking) in the morning.
I have a brown-out from 4:00 to 6:00 PM
I have a second creative time in the evening.
The earlier I start, the more productive I am so,............morning. if I can start before 9a
I like to gather inspiration to me in the nightime. I love being on the internet and just following links and searching out new things. I think of it as absorption and immersement, steeping myself in ideas. Then there is the sleeping time which is the marinating. In the morning, fresh from sleep, connections start to form and the thoughts are uppermost in my mind without distractions of a practical nature. I feel most creative then. Some of my best ideas come to me on the train during my morning commute.
I have two parts of my day, it seems to follow @gailcalled‘s pattern.
@cak: Same gene pool, babe.
The night time is the right time – no distractions!
I’m at my best in the morning, usually from around 9 to 1 or so. From 1ish to about 4, I tend to get tired and don’t get much done. Later on I can be productive too, but morning is still better.
I am at work at 6 a.m. My most productive time is from 7:15 to 9, it seems I can just bang stuff out then (I do a lot of writing)..
1:15 I start fading fast…
I am not a morning person. Iam most productive from 1:00 to 5:00. Best 8 hour workday for me is probably 10:00 to 7:00.
I find the most productive time for me is later in the afternoon and early evening. This unfortunately clashes with when I go home from work! I do try to get all the mundane stuff done and meetings early in the day though so I can use that productive time most effectively. I am often there typing away at 6pm.
From a creative perspective, early morning is also good for me.
Time doesn’t matter as much, as the work needed doing cannot tell Time. However, I am most productive when left to do the job, any job, alone with no ‘help’ from noone else, no matter the job.
My preference was always to work nights. There is less traffic on the road and most of all the brass has gone home. I can function much better at night.
I hated early morning shifts, but I loved working days. Night time is still No. 1 here.
