Why do the opaque gummies always taste better?
Seriously, for as long as I could remember the opaque ones were always the greatest in the pack. Didnt matter if they were awesome blue or even the shitty purple ones, if they were opaque the flavor was somehow a million times better.
Why is this? And why is it, that if the opaque ones do indeed taste so much better that you cant buy just all opaque gummies. At least not that ive ever seen. Its just like ohhh heres a couple really good tasting ones with your pack of 20 so so gummies.

Pure speculation:
The transparent gummies must be flavored with oils (e.g. citrus oils) or synthetics, which are used in such small doses that they wouldn’t be visible. Maybe—just maybe—the opaque ones actually contain some pulp from actual fruit, which would block the light transmission. Something inside me resists the notion that anything natural goes into those things, but maybe, depending on the brand….?

The opaque ones are my least favorite. They taste like bitter shallowness.

@AmWiser I agree it is a matter of taste buds but still most ive spoken to like these more. What is in them that isnt in the other gummies? and why dont they just make packs of those kind of gummies?
If you’re really serious about it, you should write the company and inquire. They will gladly reply (and possibly send you some free samples or coupons).
As a connoisseur (FUCK THAT WORD IS HARD TO SPELL!!!!!!!) of gummy bears I have to chime in and say one thing (having nothing to do with the answer of the question)....do you have a Sunflower Farmers Market where you live, @uberbatman ? If you do, you need to go there and try their gummy bears. I think they’re like 20 different flavors. You buy them in bulk which is nice so you can “sample”....lol….anyhow, I was just so surprised because it’s more of a healthy food store but their gummy bears are OFF the fuckin CHARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@deni unfortunately I do not. Thats another thing ive been questioning about gummies. My girlfriend got gummy vitamins for us. You only need two a day but i was thinking why not put less in each gummy and just sell packs of them. Theyre quite yummy and all healthy instead of HFCS.

@Blueroses well I mean the gummy vitamins are pretty damn expensive but if they lowered it so that a serving of vitamins was a little bag instead of two itd be cheaper and id eat them all the time instead of unhealthy gummies but really, who the hell wants just 2 gummy bears…
