Have you ever had a dream/nightmare come true ?
I had a dream about my friend telling me a shocking secret and two weeks later she confessed something to me.

Uh. Mostly. Depends on what. I often dreamed of doing things when I was younger, and, afterwards I actually did those things. But, I don’t think there’s a connection between the two.
It is believed that we dream about the things we want to happen. And old Romans [or Greeks, not really sure, maybe both] believed that dreams come true, whether we like it or not.
Yes, I’ve had good and bad dreams come true. Either way I hate it when that happens. I can’t explain why it happens and thankfully it is rare but it really creeps me out.
@Written If you dream of things that you did when you were younger, surely that’s more of a memory?
@Leanne1986 No, when I was younger, I dreamt things, and later did them. I never dream things that happened. :)
Yes, this happened to me once, and it was really creepy. I was pregnant at the time, so I don’t know if that had anything to do with it. My dream was that I was a passenger in the back seat of a car full of people, and was just gazing out the window, watching the scenery go by. I didn’t recognize where I was but I remembered every single weed and bush, and even how they were waving in the wind. Then the road took a big, wide curve to the left, and on the left was a big drive-in theater. Then I woke up. I wouldn’t have even remembered the dream, except that it seemed “different” than other dreams. Anway, my husband and I got up and went to his mother’s house, where she informed us that we were going to drive to Aunt Molly’s new house for lunch. We piled in the car, and as soon as we got on the road, I started recognizing the scenery from my dream. I had never been down this road before because Aunt Molly just moved. I started getting creeped out right away, and then the road took a wide left turn and there was that drive-in. I thought for sure it meant we were going to die in a car crash or something, but nothing happened and I am still here.
@Written Oh, I see. I did think that was a little strange!
Yes, It happens to me quite regularly. I dream about something taking place and usually after a couple of weeks it happens. I’ve gotten used to it. : )
I had this nightmare vision of participating on a Q&A site, constantly being bombarded with questions. Thankfully it was only a drea….......Arrrrgghhhhhhh!!!!
@queenie I love it here really, sshhh….keep it to yourself though :¬)
I dreamed a stream was flowing through the garden of our house. It seemed a crazy dream until a day or two later the playing fields behind the house flooded and the overflow came through our garden. It has never happened before or since. It felt odd when I was in the garden trying to repair the damage and I realized I had already dreamed this.
@flutherother When you had the dream, did it seem “different” than most dreams? Like every little detail implanted themselves into your memory? That was my experience with mine, so just wondering…
@Skaggfacemutt No the dream didn’t seem unusual. I thought it was crazy but then lots of dreams are. I would have forgotten about it if it hadn’t ‘come true’ shortly after.
