Can orange juice be frozen?
Have you tried freezing orange juice? I would think it would be okay, but I’d like to hear from someone who’s tried it. There’s a big OJ sale at the grocery.

I have and it was fine. I’ve never frozen it in waxy containers, though, only plastic, so I don’t know how it would be in the original container. Probably fine, is my guess.

@jgrissett Welcome to Fluther! Actually, I haven’t… Perhaps I’ll make some now. I was a little worried consistency might change if frozen then defrosted. I think it’s definitely worth a shot, though.
Just shake it up well when it’s thawed.
Yup, I’ve frozen it. You may have to shake it well once you thaw it, like @JilltheTooth said, but otherwise it’s just fine :)
And remember to remove a little so that the contents do not expand too much and cause the carton or jar to explode. When I freeze milk, for example, I leave about an inch in order to avoid that.
I do the freezing process itself with the lid off, then put it back on when it’s all the frozen to avoid those problems. Well, usually I remember to put the lid back on!
You certainly can freeze it but do as Jill says and freeze it with the lid off otherwise it’ll split the bottle when it expands.
If you freeze without a lid and without pouring some juice out, do you not get a large, frozen exploding flower-like thing at the open end? Then how to do your force the lid on again. It’s much easier to take a swig first, replace lid and then freeze.
Take a swig but still leave the lid off. If the bottle is sealed then when the juice expands there’s nowhere for the displaced air to escape so it may still split the bottle.
