What am I doing wrong when I wash my t-shirts?
Every time I do a load of laundry, my shirts come out with the bottom part creased upwards. What am I doing wrong?

Try washing them inside out.
I agree with @zenvelo , also you might want to use less soap
Wow, I was gonna suggest warm water instead of hot.
I second the idea of turning them inside out before washing. If you don’t put them in the dryer it probably won’t happen, but unless you use a liquid fabric softener, your shirts might not feel so nice and soft. If it keeps happening and it really bugs you, just iron the hem flat once they’re dry.
I’ll be interested to see these answers. I have the same trouble with sweaters that have a small hem. Similar to a t-shirt hem.
Thanks for the suggestions, all. I’m using dormitory washers and dryers so I can’t control the temperature, but I will definitely try washing them inside out.
T shirts shouldn’t be dried all the way. They should just be partially dried to remove lint, then hang dried, after that. Even if you don’t have a backyard, they should be hang dried, indoors, then.
Wash your t-shirts inside out. Also, wash your sock inside out. They will last longer.
