Anderson Silva. Just a fighter, but definitely an inspiration. His undefeated self, a knock-out king, his ability to face anyone without fear, and win, simply gives me a strong source of motivation to go out there and conquer whatever the world throws at me.

My dad.
He had strength of character. :)
Fictional: Batman
Non-fictional: Edward Norton, amazing actor.
I did have when I was younger. I admired Willie Mays and Wilma Rudolph and Emperor Haile Selassie.
My hero posted the first answer to this thread.
Barbra Streisand has been my hero for as long as I can remember.
My two boys inspire me to do better and work harder than at times I think is even possible. I find a lot of inspiration in a few notable “friends” in my life too. I know some really cool people who do great things in their lives that have made me a better person because of knowing them.

@WillWorkForChocolate She has a hubby and he’s a really big dude. I’ll just have to pretend. You’re one of my heros too. The way you take care of the family is amazing. JilltheTooth is also on the list.
@WillWorkForChocolate Do you remember your answer to my question about summertime menories? You so captured the family concept it just amazed me.
!!! I’m all warm and fuzzy now, that’s so sweet!
@queenie Wounded warriors and those bravely facing surgery also inspire me. :)
I love mush on an otherwise boring Tuesday.
I’ll bring my double chocolate cookies if you bring pie.
That room is sounding pretty damn good!
Double chocolate cookies!!!? count me IN!!
We’ve completely derailed this thread with our mush and desserts and talks of tawdry hotel rooms…
Back on topic people. Chop chop.
I was just thinking robdamel is scratching his head wondering how this went from inspirational people to food. Welcome to fluther robdamel. Back to heros.
Lady Di
Leonardo DaVinci
Ben Franklin
Mike Adams, the Health Ranger
Stephen King. He does what he wants and doesn’t give a shit what people think. I’m not sure he even cares when people say positive things…XD And some may say he just writes for the money, but if he does, at least he’s making money doing something he likes. (he started out broke as shit, anyway)
