Now I think of fallen heroes after reading a review and articles about the new book coming out
Racism, bisexuality and basically statutory rape with minors (girls, including his niece). Oy.

Statutory rape? Racism? o.o
And I think of peace.
Truthfully? The Richard Attenborough movie & dp/pd if you catch my drift.
An Indian man that tried to do his personal best for peace. Men are infallible
When I think of him, I first think peace….then my thought turns to this picture I saw on the net where monks set themselves on fire… :( sad.
I think of non-violent resistance.
The Mahatma will always be an inspiration to me, of what is right, and the power of one voice.
a Nice old man fighting non-violently for peace
In full seriousness, I usually think of the power of nonviolence, and how one man can make a difference.
I already knew he was a racist and wasn’t very nice to his wife. But liberating his country from their oppressors was still a good thing. Apparently he was the man for the job.
As for his pumped-up boyfriend? Meh.
‘Ghandi’ is the most frequently misspelled name in the world. Otherwise, he showed the world that non-violent resistance can bring change.
@mattbrowne : I’m not sure I understand what you’re saying about the spelling of Gandhi. Ghandi is incorrect. @seazen_ has spelled it correctly.
@hawaii_jake – Of course he did. I just answered his question ‘What do you think of…’
