What are cool things to do while on Spring Break?
Im on spring break right now and I have literally nothing to do but be on the computer and work on assingments my teachers gave me and text people. Boring! So do you have any advice on what to do? Almost all my friends are out of town so thats out of the nquestion, and its FREEZING outside where I live, even though its “supposedly” spring.

Go to an indoor mall and do some shopping or just window shopping. Eat lunch at the mall.
Go to the library and get some books.
Start a new craft project. Do you sew? knit? scrapbook?
Bundle up and go for a walk.
Go to the gym and work out.
Go to the movies.
Clean out your closet.
Go to a museum! Those can be a blast all by yourself. Go take an art class. Don’t be a wuss and bundle up and go hike in the woods and skip stones on a frozen pond!
Keep texting and eventually you’ll find someone who wants to get a party together. Indoors. That’s where my head would have been at if we had had “spring break” in the 1930’s. ha. Each weekend was spring break to me. my poor mother.
Go ice skating.
Look up a few recipes online for things that you’ve been wanting to try, then make them. Especially if you can make something to share with someone else, like one of your neighbors. I’ve been experimenting with soups lately. If it’s cold, soup will be perfect.
Here’s a couple of ideas to get you started.
Cream of Mushroom
Southwestern Black Bean
Corn Chowder
Pasta Fagioli
Pumpkin Soup
Bundle up, and go outside and take some amazing winter photographs
If you have Netflix, rent a whole season of some show that you’ve been interested in, but never watched (like some of those ones on HBO).
Go through your closet and bag up some of those old items that you never wear or don’t fit. Take them to the thrift store and then get some new (from the thrift store) items.
Go to Michaels (or another craft store in your town) and get a small already stretched canvas (about $5) and a set of brushes (about $5) and some acrylic paints (small pots). Then paint a landscape.
Invite a few friends over, bake some really big potatoes in the oven and have various toppings available (shredded cheese, chopped onion, scallions, bacon, sour cream, salsa). Rent a really funny comedy like Young Frankenstein. Or for the food part, make up a big batch of chili in the crockpot.
Write a real letter (by hand on paper) to an older relative. Add some recent photos of yourself. They will truly appreciate it.
Give yourself a nice at home manicure and pedicure. Then paint your nails. Or if you have a boyfriend, paint his nails ; – )
I spent one spring break reading as many Hardy Boys books as I could! I also often re-read the Tintin books.
