Do you watch Big Love on HBO?

Asked by JLeslie (65743points) March 30th, 2011

I saw the last few episodes, and I had seen maybe two episodes a couple of years ago. My question to regular watchers is it seemed sort of odd to me that each relationship seemed so separate among the main characters. Each wife kind of doing their own thing, and each of them in such different places as individuals. I would think the wives chosen by the same man would be more similar? Also, the middle wife, the blond, that she looked into sending her daughter away without consulting any of the other wives or her husband. I would think in a religious household like that, the wives woud never take such action without minimally telling their husband. What did you think?

I am interested in any other comments about the show, pro, con, whatever you think about it.

@JLeslie: I used to watch it, when I still had HBO. It’s a bit inaccurate. For reference, you might try watching Sister Wives. I’ve been watching that and I really enjoy it.

I didn’t care for the acting or the plots. Sister Wives is very superior and more true to life.
