Is anyone familiar with the Mexican bus system?

Specifically, I’m going from Mexico City to Oaxaca tomorrow, as a young foreign female traveling alone. My main concern is safety, and I’m wondering the difference between the Ado first class and the Ado Gran Luxe. Any experiences or info?
