“Reading is the basics for all learning.”
You laugh? I cry. America elected this man to lead them… and then elected him again. weeps
Ahhhhh…thank you. I needed that. Its surreal that he was the president. Never my president, but this country’s figurehead and what a moron. I swear he was all coked up at a couple of speeches. The way he is all over the place, his mouth is moving all the time and he’s snifflin all the time and touchin his nose. Sometimes I gotta laugh at this shit because its crazy and the votes didn’t matter and they cheated their way in to do everything they wanted and still are. I know myself and all my friends are fighting back, but no one changes. Laugh, do something about it and then cry. I’d lose my mind if I couldn’t laugh at absolutely ridiculous idiots.
They remind me of my favourite Bush joke:
GW Bush is sitting in his office when an aide comes in.
Aide: “I;m afraid I’ve got some bad news from the UN mission in the Congo. Four Brazilian peacekeepers have been killed by the rebels”.
Bush: “Oh my god, that’s devastating news”
Aide: “Well, it’s not great, but hardly devastating”
Bush: “Oh, remind me, how many exactly is a brazillion?”
I have said it often. I firmly believe Bush is mildly retarded.
“There’s an old saying in Tennessee – I know it’s in Texas, probably in Tennessee – that says, fool me once, shame on… shame on you. Fool me – you can’t get fooled again.”
He more than butchered that saying!
The one that really made me laugh was: “The war on terror involves Saddam Hussein because of the nature of Saddam Hussein, the history of Saddam Hussein, and his willingness to terrorise himself.”
My other favorites:
“Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning?”
“First, let me make it very clear, poor people aren’t necessarily killers. Just because you happen to be not rich doesn’t mean you’re willing to kill.”
“Information is moving. You know, nightly news is one way, of course, but it’s also moving through the blogosphere and through the Internets.”
“That’s George Washington, the first president, of course. The interesting thing about him is that I read three – three or four books about him last year. Isn’t that interesting?”
Like everyone else said, it is really hard to believe this man was the President of the United States.
“I understand small business growth. I was one.”
Whhaaat?!
I never found Bush amusing. Enraging, yes. Funny, no.
He’s not good for a laugh. he’s always good for a cringe though and my TV still has cringe marks on it. His as well as others’.
Oh man…this cheered me up for a brief moment just now…thank you.
worst linguist the history of world leaders has ever seen
Even King George VI worked hard to improve himself. He knew he had a problem.
