Taking benadryl really helps me sleep so instead of taking prescribed sleeping pills which makes me feel dillusional I’d rather take benadryl

Yup. It’s the PM part of Tylenol PM.
Sure, my doctor told me to, and it greatly helped me not having a runny nose at work the next day. We all had runny noses ? air quality.
Yes, I’ve been told it’s safe. I normally take trazedone (a type of antidepressant that makes you sleepy) to help me sleep but when I run out of it, I will use Benadryl.
I’ve been taking it every night for years with no ill effects and no Dr. I’ve ever been to has had anything negative to say about it since I always include it in the list of medications which I take (even tho it’s an OTC product.)
I take it for my sinus problems mainly but it does help slightly with sleep.
This medication has been around for ages and has a wide margin of safety.
My wife did it all the time. Her only complaint was that she woke up groggy and with dry mouth.
I do this when necessary, but have found that its effect on me is lessened if I take it more than 4 or 5 nights in a row. Your mileage will vary.
This is fine to do. Many people take it safely nearly every day for allergies. Although most have switched to a longer acting non-drowsy medication. It may not always work as well as it does initially if you take it everyday.
