What are two things that sound like they wouldn't go well together, but do anyways?

Or rather, what are some of your favorites? I would have to say one of my favorites is how eerily well scenes of post-apocalyptic carnage go with 40’s-50’s swing jazz and big band music (like in Fallout or BioShock)
Oh, and caramel-filled chocolate and Nacho Cheese Doritos. Don’t knock it ‘till you try it.

Peggle and Dubstep.
You’d be surprised.
Lay’s potato chips with mustard and pizza with mustard.
Vanilla cream cookies and potato chips. That’s what I craved during pregnancy and still do.
Maybe lots of people are on to this one, but one of my favorites is a nice crisp stick of celery with peanut butter filling the concave center.
Mayonnaise and nipples? Sorry I mean whip cream.
@ETpro if you put raisens on the peanut butter, it is called ants on a log. Try it with cream cheese instead of peanut butter.
Beer and cheese. (WAY better than wine and cheese, by the way)
“I love you but I hate you” .. I dont understand it !—- Roses and Chocolate !
Hair and armpits…I guess.
@mazingerz88 you put mayonaise on NIPPLES??? WOW thats really a new one to me
Potato salad and raspberries.

Barack Obama and the White House
classical music and torture scenes, thank you A Clockwork Orange
@AmWiser I have a cookie recipe that’s just that, actually..
@bkcunningham Ants on a log? I hadn’t heard of that one. If I use the cream cheese with raisins and some grape jam, is it ants on a log-jam?
Tuna, mayonnaise, walnuts, apples….all mixed up as a salad.
Cheese and apples in a sandwich…or just cut in slices without bread.
Peanuts in Dr. Pepper. (Childhood fave, not now…)
Steven Tyler and American Idol.
Ah, well @ETpro…..You have given a name to that which I thought could not be named. :)
lol
More than two things, what I call a cheese salad: Shredded cheese, raisins, sunflower seeds, croutons, and ranch dressing. If I have one, I throw in diced avocado, too.
Also, Grape Nuts cereal with butter, not milk.
Zombie movies and Johnny Cash (the 2004 version of Dawn of the Dead has the best opening sequence ever!)
Ooh, I forgot one. Grape jelly and chili sauce! Sounds disgusting, but makes a super yummy meatball sauce.
@mazingerz88 I don’t think Barrack and the White House turned out good. I think that ended in a very very very bad combination when actually put together. What a mess the man continues to make.
Strawberries and black pepper… Mmmmmmm :-)
Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta Jones
Mickey Rooney doing the high jump, man can that fella leap.
Green vegetables with anything
Fish with anything
Sushi and an appitite.
Katsup on eggs or suger on your rice.
@ETpro ants on a log-jam. hahaha You gave me my first laugh of the day. Good one.
I almost forgot, potato chip cookies. They’re just great!
A peanut butter sandwich with cheetos on it.
Herbed cream cheese and crispy Korean laver (seaweed.)
How does seaweed taste @crisw?
@bkcunningham
Ever had sushi? Roasted laver is the seaweed they use to wrap sushi. The Koreans serve it as a snack, in smaller pieces, flavored with things like grapeseed oil, sea salt, or kimchi flavoring. It satisfies that urge for something crispy, salty and oily, but it’s very low-calorie (20–30 calories per 10 sheets). Of course, adding cream cheese to it makes it not exactly a low-calorie food :>)
