I need some good up beat music about getting over someone and pretty much kicking them from my life. Please no slow songs! I seriously don’t want this guy running my life forever and I want to get over it. I’m listening to Michael Bublé‘s Haven’t met you yet and that’s helping a bit. It’s hard to not sink into sadness and nearly bust into tears, blah, blah, blah. Y’all know the routine, lol. Anyway…suggestions??

It’s not a song and at first you might not take this video seriously, but just listen to what this guy has to say and you’ll be alright. :)
A bit corny but this one cheered me up, helped me forget the past & set a few goals for the future :-/
It worked for me anyway at the time Lol…….. All them??....ermmm. Over twenty five years ago anyway…. ;-)
Enjoy…....
Bif Naked has some super awesome bitch songs that’ll make you feel tough as fuck and ready to face anything.
Tango Shoes is about getting over a guy, and I Love Myself Today is also especially empowering. “Fuck You 2” is another great one, but there isn’t a video for it.
Canadian bitches know how to tell it like it is ;)
Plus, she’s a badass tattooed hottie who told breast cancer to get the fuck out of her body, so that doesn’t hurt either!
So you like old musicals? I love this song from Oklahoma:
Why should a woman who is healthy and strong
Blubber like a baby if her man’s goes away?
A weepin’ an’ a whalin’ that he’s done her wrong
That’s one thing you’ll never hear me say!
Never gonna think that the man I lose is the only man among men!
I’ll snap my fingers to show I don’t care
I’ll buy me a brand new dress to wear
I’ll scrub my neck
And I’ll brush my hair
And start all over again!
Many a new face will please my eye
Many a new love will find me
Never have I once looked back to sigh
Over the romance behind me
Many a new day will dawn before I do!
Many a like lad may kiss and fly
A kiss gone by is bygone.
Never have I asked an August sky
“Where has last July gone?”
Never have I wandered through the rye
Wondering “where has some guy gone?”
Many a new day will dawn before I do.
Many a new face will please my eye
Many a new love will find me
Never have I once looked back to sigh
Over the romance behind me
Many a new day will dawn before I do!
Never have I chased the honeybee
Who carelessly cajoled me
Somebody jist as sweet as he
Cheered me and consoled me.
Never have I wept into my tea
Over the deal someone doled me
Many a new day will dawn
Many a red sun will set
Many a blue moon will shine
Before I do!
Many a new face will please my eye
Many a new love will find me
Never have I once looked back to sigh
Over the romance behind me
Many a new day will dawn before I do!
Never have I chased the honeybee
Who carelessly cajoled meSomebody jist as sweet as he
Cheered me and consoled me.
Never have I wept into my tea
Over the deal someone doled me
Many a new day will dawn
Many a red sun will set
Many a blue moon will shine
Before I do!
This 1952; Theres Brewer singing “Got along without you before I met you, going to get along without you now…Boom, Boom”
A big band version of “Hit the road, you sob.”

Really, the blues makes me feel the best. Big Mama Thornton’s version of Hound Dog really does it for me.
@marinelife: Just her name cheers me up. Milo and I are bobbing around the room and able, for the first time today, to ignore the 34˚ and snowy mix outside.
Thanks for making my day.
@gailcalled Thank you, in turn, for the smile at that image!
