My sister has had this issue for 10 years, she says it’s really itchy and she has white discharge, yet every doctors see’s been to has said that the culture hasn’t grown anything – yes it’s vaginal.
Does anyone know what this might be if it’s not a yeast infection?

If it isn’t a fungal/yeast infection then perhaps it is a bacterial infection due to Gardnerella vaginalis. But the doctors should have checked for that when they were looking for the presence of yeast. This may sound gross but a very strong fishy odor along with the microscopic observation of “Clue Cells” is indicative of Gardnerella vaginalis.
A check for Chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, human papilloma virus (HPV) as well as a pap smear are also in oder.
What @gondwanalon said. Sounds like the bacterial infection. A course of special antibiotics is usually take for this.
Yeast infection, thrush or herpes is all I can think of. Does it come and go, or is it all the time?
