Is it a good thing that I look back at memories, and that they make me teary eye or cry?
Lately I’ve been looking back at some old memories and they make me cry or teary eyed. But I went to Disneyland with my girlfriend and her parents I had a great time. (we went 3 days ago) but I keep looking back at it, and I remember she kept telling me she was afraid of Haunted Mansion so I went with her on the ride to keep her safe, and comfort her. That was just one of the many memories. And there was a song playing when we were in the car going back to drop me off and me and her were holding hands and sleeping…Now I can’t listen to the song without getting teary eye. This is a good thing right?

I’d say so. Feeling anything at all is a good thing. It means you’re alive and human. I have a long commute to work and often run through the back-catalog to try on those old feelings again. It’s a good idea to skip the ones involving murderous rage though.
I agree with @atomicmonkey—just don’t forget to look forward too!
I think it just means you have a sensitive soul Vincent. There is nothing wrong with that. I get teary eyed every time I hear an ambulance siren! Or if I hear a song that reminds me of someone I love and sometimes when I think about my children and the things they do. As @atomicmonkey said, having these feelings means you are human. Much better than not caring. Glad you had such a lovely time with your girlfriend and her family. Sounds like you have some special memories there.
You seem to be reliving that relationship through the memories. There is nothing wrong with feeling feelings. Are you sad that she is out of your life? Could you be grieving the loss of the friendship?
It’s certainly not a “bad thing.”
It’s great! You are in love dude! What is the song anyway?
Aww, that’s a good thing. : )
Those are tears of joy, not sadness.
Thank you everyone, I’m still crying from it :) But @mazingerz88 The song is teenage dream by Katy Perry.
