What is the best way to cut hair in a man's ear?

Asked by mazingerz88 (29220points) April 7th, 2011

This 90 year old gentleman asked me if there’s something he can use to effectively and safely get rid of thick hair now growing out of his ear. If he can do it by himself, the better. Thanks!

Not sure if he should do it by himself but get him one of these :http://www.amazon.co.uk/Groom-Mate-Platinum-Nose-Trimmer/dp/B000EBFJXS

I bought a shaver from Dollar General Stores for about $4.00 bucks.

It was originally bought for nose hair, but it also works great for hairy ears.

Be sure not to get it wet. Works great and is safe.

Nose/ear hair trimmer The one I am linking, is one like my husband uses. An all in one allows for side burn clean up between barber trips.

Yes, there are small electric shavers made for trimming hair in the inside of the nose and ears. You can find them and pretty much any pharmacy.

the electric shavers are the only things that work; however, be sure to keep the batteries fresh. You don’t want the battery to die while you’re grinding away in there!
