What have you been excited about lately?

Spotted a €200 bill on the floor, chased it as it blew in the wind for about 2 streets before I cought it. Was fairly exciting.

Gardening.
Yes.The very thought of dirt drives me wild.

I’m excited that classes are over for the year, all I have to do is write 4 essays over the next 3 weeks or so, and they’ll give me a fancy piece of paper that reads “Master of Arts”!

Awesome! I’m excited to have a real big girl job soon! I keep getting really promising contacts and interviews. I’m hoping to have to choose between companies!

We just got a new septic tank or pipes or….something big put into our house (which is exciting itself….bad plumbing blowssssss) and now the side yard, where they had to dig everything up and remove trees and bushes, is just a flat rectangle of dirt. And I’m going to plant a million wildflowers in that rectangle. And by the time they come up, I will have already moved out of the state but…..I am so excited for everyone else who will get to see them!!!!!!!!!!! I love wildflowers!!!!!!

I saw my little goo berry (I am 2½ months pregnant) swimming around during an ultrasound yesterday!

Having a cooking party/sleepover tonight with one of my good friends, taking a beautiful friend of mine to a semi formal dance tomorrow, and going out with one of my best friends (who I’m totally head over heels for) on Saturday. I got a big, big heartbeat, yeah.

I finally activated the Nook I got for Christmas and am having a ball with it. Too much fun to not have to deal with heavy, pointy hardcover new releases. I have small, arthritic hands…

My Favorite newschool MC ,J. Cole, is going to be performing at my school on Saturday night! Cant wait!

I got a clean bill of health after my yearly mammogram yesterday.
I saw my accountant today and will own no taxes for 2011.
My five thousand daffodils started to open today, the first sunny and mild one since about last October.
The peepers are audible at dusk.
The redtailed hawks are soaring on the thermals, screaming and preparing to mate.
My pair of phoebes are back and looking for nesting materials.

@noelleptc Mia is gorgeous and seems sweet. I had never heard of her before Alice in Wonderland. Shia’s not really my “type” but he’s still a cutie!

Playing the Flugelhorn. I just started playing it again after plying the trumpet in collage 25 years ago. I’m pretty bad now but it is still a fun challenge.

I’m really excited to read my new book that has of 7 of Jules Verne’s novels that I got as a birthday present yesterday. I’m also really excited because next Saturday I’m going to an undergrad conference for Classical Studies. It’s my first conference, and I’m excited by all the potential knowledge! Also, I’m having a party this Saturday and am planning on watching BBC’s miniseries Sherlock on DVD! Yay yay yay!

I’m going to be featured in 2 web commercials for the local university here, and in one, I get to play Nosferatu! I’m stoked!

Each day is a plus for me. I’m just glad to still be here. : ))

I’ve been very rapidly and easily shedding weight and feeling great by eating smaller, healthier portions.

I moved 2 months ago and bought the company I worked for 14 years. Still buzzin about the whole ordeal. Plus I am reading @Fiddle_Playing_Creole_Bastard ‘s newly finished novel…accomplishing hard set goals is a beautiful thing!

Baby clothes. I had a baby shower last weekend and just finished getting all the clothes that I got washed and put away. They are all just so cute and tiny. It’s hard to not be excited. :) Only a little bit longer and I’ll be putting them on my little guy.

After 2 Springs at my current residence I am finally doing something with the back yard patio space. I already have nasturtium planted and they are blooming. (They are really for Daisy, my rabbit, but they are pretty, too.) This weekend I’m off to the nursery to buy some things to put in my hanging planters.

Also, I’m back to teaching in September again. It’s a ways off, but I’m excited as I haven’t taught since the beginning of the year and I miss being at the college.

I’m excited about this one robotics idea I’m getting ready to implement, about the necklace I’m making to send to my friend at her college as a surprise (it’s turning out nice so far!), about being under two weeks away from my next major surgical milestone, and about signing up to take calculus over the summer. I’ll be the first to admit that these are really odd things to be excited about, but I’m at an odd place in life right now, ahahaa!

Well I am a bit excited because I am going to see my brother for the first time in about 28 years soon.

I am also excited because (I hope) my husband is planning a trip to the US for my birthday. Can’t go on my birthday but later in the year I hope. Just for a week or two.

Urrm… I am excited because of work being done at my house that I have been waiting 10 years to happen.
