Perhaps, if you were stranded on a island and you only got to eat one thing for a whole week, what would it be?

what do you mean, do you mean eat one thing once, then starve for the rest of the week, or eat the same thing everyday?

Hello @tp, welcome to Fluther!
A turkey club sandwich. I could get along on one turkey club per day.
Is that cheating? It’s actually many things on one sandwich.
I eat more chicken any man ever seen.
Cap’n Crunch or bean sprouts.
So hard to choose ;)
I guess in this case, since no constraints have been mentioned, I’d start with the Buffalo chicken appetizer (and maybe a cup of the minestrone, too), followed by a small salad with Thousand Island dressing and Bleu Cheese dressing (both off to the side, so I could change things up a bit on alternate days), the New York strip steak, medium, with a nice hot baked potato, butter and sour cream and chives, of course, and some nicely steamed broccoli.
When can I go?
Seriously, pizza. It’s great when it’s all hot and melty, it’s good when it’s cold and it combines quite a few food groups: grains, dairy, vegetables.
Pizza or lasagna. Are we allowed to change up the ingredients in the basic dish?
Beans…..fart….I love beans…..parrrrrrp!!
@queenie Just a small homage to Blazing Saddles, I actually can’t stand them. Give me a spaghetti hoop anytime XD
@WasCy has made me homesick for American restaurants. (not a hard job, seeing as how the highlight of my days currently are toast and what ever is left in my son’s lunch box when he comes home.)
Pemmican. Not the cheap jerky brand, but the real stuff.
Split pea and pig knuckle soup.
My home made spinach and mushroom lasagne…yum!
My homemade Christmas dinner, including the turkey sandwiches.
For a week only, I can eat just about anything the same. If I had my choice though, it would be Chipotle burritos.
I do this pretty often, it seems. I’ll make a huge pot of soup and be eating out of it for a week. I make sure ahead of time that it’s a soup that I like!
For it to be all I would eat every day for 7 days, I would probably pick some kind of cereal with milk or option number 2 would be just a fruit (or cereal with fruit). I am into roughage and also, cereal or fruit or combo would have some decent nutritional value. I feel like either cereal or fruit is something I would not mind having for breakfast or dinner.
Chipotle Burritos, I agree with @Neizvestnaya. A complete meal in a wrap. You know what else? They make you fart big time. A week of Burrito farts and ass explosions. How could I pass that up!!!
Pizza pops. It pretty much is what I eat all week already…
Eating cinder toffee at the moment could live off it for weeks never tire if eating it xx
Pizza with sausage, green peppers, mushrooms and extra cheese.
Either cheese pizza or a bean burrito (those are 2 of my regular staples) or possibly a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Chinese food. Like pizza, it’s great hot or cold.
I find myself eating a variation of cheese sandwich nearly every day. I use a salt-free Greek seasoning literally every day… it’s probably great on ice cream, if done right :D So if there isn’t any Chinese cuisine lying around my desert island, those’d work also.
Sushi. Lots and lots of sushi! I eat it on a weekly basis anyway…
Unagi donburi or Döner kebab
Damnit, I spilled my updog.
Alright, I’ll play along.
@Symbeline What’s updog?
Not much man, how about you?
Ba-boom DZING! XD
Thanks for playing. :)
