I've been searching for a song for 2 years. HELP!

I used Shazam on the song, and it says it’s called “A night without stars”, by Pier Daniele Ferri, although I couldn’t even find the song on youTube. Maybe that will help a little.

Can it be Close to the Flame by HIM? It’s the only song I know that has “It won’t fade away” in the lyrics.

http://tvshowmusic.com/shows/thecity/season01.html I found this link with ths shows songs on it and that song isn’t among them but the singer sounds a little like Paper Route, I would try emailing the show and see if they can let you know what the song is and who is singing it, since it isn’t listed as part of their playlist.
