The Nanny (My favorite, recently discovered show!!! It’s funny and sexy and sweet with some of the best banter in the business between Fran and Maxwell and between Niles and CC)
The Class (a hilarious comedy with Jason Ritter and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, the dialogue was spit your milk out of your nose funny)
Sh*t My Dad Says (It’s William Shatner parodying himself fer chrissakes, that’s funny!)
Boston Public (Loretta Devine, Fyvush Finkel and Chi McBride were phenomenal)
Everwood (Beautiful characters, with deep, sweet, flawed feelings. Treat Williams was yummy eye candy)
Joan of Arcadia (every woman wishes she could be as wise as Joan at such a young age. I loved that God was played by all sorts of different character actors, male and female that always waved goodbye to Joan when they were walking away)
My So Called Life (Painfully realistic look at the lives of American teenagers. Claire Danes was so beautiful, yet so realistic in the role).
I second @Brian1946 with The New Adventures of Old Christine (Next to Fran Drescher, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss is one of the funniest women ever on TV, and they’re both gorgeous too)
Monk (One of the sweetest and funniest orignal comedy/dramas ever. With wonderful Who Dunnit storylines. Tony Shaloub is a God to me)
Scrubs (Quick ridiculous dialogue and really attractive actors. John C. McGinley, as Dr. Cox had some of the most outrageous and drawn-out angry, yet hilarious, outbursts of dialogue that I’ve ever heard.)
Ed (Quirky people with sweet, but funny and loving situations going on all around)
Cybill (Cybill Shepherd and Christine Baranski made comic magic together. Kind of like Thelma and Louise without all the violence. Plus they’re both very easy on the eyes)
Just Shoot Me (A very funny, fast-paced ensemble cast that made really good use of David Spade. He’s actually funny in this show. George Segal was brilliant)
Sex and The City (Great female love angst at its finest. What female amongst us hasn’t had at least one of the awful things that happened to Carrie and the gang happen to her, not so much the sex part, but the getting dumped in a humiliating and heartbreaking manner. And who hasn’t had their Mr. Big?)
The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd, played by Blair Brown (A Smart quirky and beautiful woman with a lot of odd things happening to her, but still she keeps on keeping on. Great theme music too which you can listen to here
Night Court (Another great ensemble cast with side-splittingly funny dialogue. John Larroquette was the quintessential pompous ass and Harry Anderson was a sweet, smart cutie pie)
In Search Of (with Leonard Nimoy. What’s not to love about Mr. Spock telling us about the possibility of Big Foot, Crop Circles and Flying Saucers?)
Star Trek The Next Generation (Patrick Stewart is right up there with Tony Shaloub on the God pedestal. This is in my top 3 greatest shows of all time with a brilliant ensemble cast, romance, mystery, special effects and humor. M*A*S*H is one of the others. Can you guess my third? Duh, it’s pretty easy!)
The Andy Griffith Show (I did and still do love Andy Griffith.V1._SX450_SY379.jpg. He was so smart, yet down to earth and loving. Excellent cast that produced one of the best directors of our time, Ron Howard(2).JPG. And who doesn’t have fond memories of Don Knotts one of the best of the best with regards to physical comedy?)
“Emergency” (Exciting drama, extroardinarily attractive paramedics, doctors and nurses, cute banter)
Queer Eye for the Straight Guy (The house design guy was so brilliant that I actually painted my bedroom light buttery yellow on 3 walls and an accent wall of a taupey-gray with a hint of purple, that I saw on one of the episodes. They did a great job cleaning up those dudes and their abodes and their wardrobes)
Quantum Leap (Scott Bakula’s shining moment. He was perfect for this role and I absolutely loved Dean Stockwell as Sam’s holographic sidekick)
Freaks and Geeks (This was an awesome, too often painfully realistic, look at junior high and high school kids, who were definitely not in the “in” crowd).
Monty Python’s Flying Circus (Funny, silly attractive men, creating visuals and funny walks and lines of dialogue that will live on forever in the mouths of of nerds who love them. Nudge Nudge, say no more!)
The Galloping Gourmet (I only got to watch this show on the rare occasions when I was home sick from school, but I loved Graham Kerr’s British accent and the fact that he was always drinking wine while he was cooking. This was my introduction into the world of foodies and my current love of the Cooking Channel and the Food Network).
