And then posting a new question for the next jelly.
Here goes: Say the question above me was: Did you have a happy childhood?
I would say: No. And then I would either elaborate or not. I choose not to.
Then I would post a question for the next jelly:

I had a female Northern Bobwhite quail that stayed on my porch all winter. She slept in a planter at night. I was filling the feeder one time and looked down and she was standing between my feet eating the bird seed that spilled. My dogs adopted me, so I guess she did the same.
Does that qualify as an unusual pet or do you have a better one?
I wouldn’t consider that a pet, per se – but I don’t have a better one.
Do you like poetry and can you recite some by heart?
Not really, but some I like.
One example is my favorite poem, given the title “Morning has broken”. It was written by Eleanor Farjeon and I can recite it, just not sure how the stanzas go:
“Morning has broken
Like the first morning.
Blackbird has spoken
Like the first bird.
Praise for the singing,
Praise for the morning.
Praise for the springing,
fresh from the word.”
There are more verses but that’s the most popular.

I’ll ask this again since I answered two things in a row and wanted to answer this question and because I can’t think of anything else…
How was your day?
Quite good. I worked from 9am-5pm and it was the last day before our Easter break which, thanks to the Royal wedding and the time of year that Easter falls, is longer than usual. My boyfriend was here when I got home from work so I spent an hour with him before going to my evening job, Ann Summers party organiser where I made £60 commission for 2 hours, fun work.

Do you still own a toy from your childhood and if so, what is it and why is it special?
I’VE RUN OUT OF QUESTIONS AND THIS THREAD IS TOO LONG AND TAKES FOREVER TO LOAD.
WOULD SOMEONE JUST ASK IT AS A PART TWO OR SOMETHING – I DON’T CARE ABOUT THE LURVE – YOU GET IT. THANKS.
@seazen_ Don’t count your chickens before they hatch :T
@Mz_Lizzy YES I have a stuffed animal beaver that my grandmother gave me. He’s always been my favorite (and one of my first) stuffed animals. He’s still in my room on my library. It is even more special now because my grandmother is dead now and she gave it to me almost ten years ago.
For the sake of seazen, I’ll dead end this thread by not asking another question. Do you think that’s a good idea? ;)
For the sake of me, you could just copy/paste this question, write part two.
[mod says] Sorry to spoil the fun, but part II has to be asked next week.
@augustlan When can this question be posted again (what day next week)? I enjoy questions like these so if no one else does, I am happy to continue part 2.
@Leanne1986 Doesn’t have to be a specific day, just so long as they’re about a week apart.
I’ve just started part 2 here.
