This may actually be a FaceBook issue, as I have had this problem before with FaceBook and I have the newest version of Windows. Sometimes FaceBook just seems to take forever to respond, and lately it seems extra slow as well. I would give it a little while and then try again…

I had a problem earlier this week where all my comments on Facebook disappeared right after I hit enter. Sometimes Facebook just doesn’t work well.

Facebook has not been playing well this week. Disappearing posting and slow responses.

or could be that you’re on a OS that’s 13 years old…

Yeah, upgrade your OS.

What’s with all this MyBook and FaceSpace hullabaloo?

Windows 98 went End Of Live July 2006.
It is more than likely an Internet Explorer Issue as opposed to Windows 98.
What version of IE are you running?

Windows 98 only suports IE6 and given that facebook has stopped supporting IE6 it’s probably your browser.

I had the same problem on my Windows 3.0 system the other day.

I’m sure it’s an internet browser issue. Chances are the browser you are running is not supported by Facebook and checked to make sure it runs properly there. They probably made a minor change that your browser doesn’t support.
