Where there any aid efforts out side the US for Louisiana after Katrina?

And more in general, I was wondering about the aid efforts from other countries when a natural disaster hits the US.

Yes. By my count, 97 different countries made offers of aid. I think Kuwait wins: $500,000,000 in aid.
